Dean Croney has been in the music business for so long that he could probably write his biography and it would be a best seller. Luckily for us, the music lovers, he prefers to lurk on the underground music scenes around the capital and write tunes that are not just extraordinaire but vital. He is […]
MoreSummer is usually festival and “cucumber” season – meaning nice weather, slow news cycle and people being out of town camping and watching bands. Well, this summer we have a heatwave, news cycle to give us all anxiety and festivals with a political bang. And here comes Chaidura with a song that on the surface […]
MoreThere won’t be a raised eyebrow in the room if I say I`m somewhat of an otaku when it comes to JW Paris. Well, maybe I am not relocating to Luton (their hometown) yet or running the band`s fan club out of my garage, but I am deeply passionate about the trio and I am always on […]
MoreThere are very few songs out there that truly can make my eyes moist. Maybe “Another Day In Paradise” by Phil Collins, Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start The Fire” or “Hail Hail Rock and Roll” by Garland Jeffreys. The newly released single from Re:O can now join the club of Rita’s favourite sonic tear jerkers. […]
More2025 is a very strange year. Some months seem to drag on forever and the others just disappear quicker than you can say K-POP. In January, a London based independent artist Chaidura released […]
MoreLast month we reviewed Chaidura’s latest single “Memory” and it was our most read blog in January. Chaidura is not […]
MoreYou could say JW Paris had somewhat of a hectic year so far. If they haven’t been supporting major acts (The Subways, SPAN) or boycotting banks involved in genocide (they choose Rock and Roll Circus in Brighton instead of The Great Escape) or releasing critically acclaimed singles (“Who Are You”, “Geeks & Freaks”), then they […]
MoreThere is a meme making rounds that since the death of David Bowie, the universe is somehow coming apart. Nothing is the same, people complain. I partly understand the sentiment, because Bowie was around all my life. It`s hard to look at the world and realize he is gone. A wild figure, jack of all […]
MoreIt’s been too long since we heard from Brain Ape. Eleven months to be exact, so it is a high time for a refresher. Minky Très-vain and Sol Alex Albret are London based underground acts that you should already be familiar with if you follow the indie circuit or if you read Indieterria on a […]
MoreI hate panic attacks because I have experienced them for most part of my life. Firstly, as a queer kid growing up in a socially conservative and a deprived mining village. Then, as an adult living with complex PTSD. It`s hard to describe what a panic attack even looks like – as they are not […]
