Not sure if anybody finds this bit of trivia even remotely interesting, but this is a second attempt for the Manchester based quartet to release “Mannequin” as a single. The first version came out on April 24th 2020, and The Red Stains were a completely different entity back then. Funny coincidence, that is our second […]
MoreForget the Stone Roses, the two teenage sisters, Nyrobi and Chaya Beckett-Messam, better known as ALT BLK ERA, are exactly what the world has been waiting for. With their genre bending and stereotype breaking music, unrepentant attitude and a NYC size dose of talent, the girls are the brightest stars on the UK music scene […]
MoreDolorem album cover If Vanadian Avenue covers certain artists on a regular basis, it is because we believe them to be a particular force on the circuit, bringing a new and fresh approach to what is happening on the scene. And North Wales based duo CELAVI not only push boundaries of what it means to […]
MoreSingle cover for “Babble, Babble, Babble” Official bio: Emerging from an enchanted forest in the infamous Bridgewater Triangle, Alyssa Gallagher and Jae Yahkèl Estes imbue their own unique artistic sensibilities into apocalyptic doom pop music that is tempered with a grain of hope. What’s truly important is putting yourself out there, widening your […]
MoreSome time ago, when calling out industry plant bands, I was attacked on Twitter by an editor from one of the biggest music magazines in the UK for not being supportive towards females. He was not able to comprehend that a feminist like me, would rebel against male created all female bands where each member […]
MoreThere is something alluring about artists like Band Ape. The way they go against the stream of what`s popular at the moment. How they change and adjust their sound to suit their own vision rather than the expectations of music executives. The amount of labour that they put into the presentation of their songs. We […]
MoreFluid – single cover Don’t take your eyes off The Red Stains. Don`t even blink. Not because the band consists of Weeping Angels that will send you back to the past (though it is a nice idea, imagine we could teleport all local right-wing boomers back to the XII century where they belong…). It is […]
MoreI’m seriously at a loss how on earth Izzy T is not yet signed to a major label and on a world tour. This girl has everything it takes to be a big star – a great voice that can shatter mirrors, fantastic stage presence and courage to speak out about what’s truly important in […]
